AINGE COULD BE CUT BY TIGERCATS
Tennessee quarterback has a broken pinky finger.  TigerCats General Manager David LaVoie is assessing the Ainge situation.  "Erik is our third guy right now and he will not start unless Graham or Curtis are on a bye week.  If he's not able to go when we need him, we'll have to look to the waiver wire for help."  LaVoie is looking forward to seeing what Ainge can do this season for the TigerCats.  "I know he has talent, but it is important that we have three healthy quarterbacks on our roster."

TigerCats bring back Hart
by David LaVoie
TigerCat News

Two years ago, Michigan running back Mike Hart was a top performer for the old NCAA SuperStars.  Hart spent part of the 2006 season on the bench with injuries, but he was with another team.  The TigerCats took him on draft night with their first round pick.  General Manager wanted another season of Hart.  Only this time, wearing the brown and orange pinstripes.  "I'm expecting big things out of Mike this year, " said TigerCat General Manager David LaVoie.  "Michigan has a nice offensive line, a good quarterback and great receivers.  It's only going to work in Mike's favor.  He's going to have opportunities to make plays.  Many big plays as a matter of fact."  Hart's opportunites with the blue and gold should transfer nicely into fantasy points for the TigerCats.  A 1000 yard season with double-digit touchdowns is what LaVoie is expecting from Hart in 2007.

TigerCats QB Graham Harrell named team captain!

By David LaVoie
TigerCat News

Back for another season, Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell is ready to lead the NCAA TigerCats.  And now, he has more reason to be excited this year.  Harrell was named the team captain on Wednesday.  "It's an honor to be named the captain of the TigerCats." said Harrell.  "We have a great team this year and I look forward to getting lots of help from my teammates.  It won't be easy.  The competition is tough.  But this should be exciiting and we're working hard to prepare for SMU."  That would be the TigerCats season opener on Monday night against SMU.
